Chaos Week
A Note from Nayana - Inner Circle
Hey. Welcome back.
This week was chaotic. Anthropic is literally suing the US government. Amazon told their engineers to stop letting AI write code unsupervised. And we hosted AGNT’Con + an AI workshop.
Big week. Let’s get into it!
📡 SIGNAL #1
Anthropic vs The US Government
The drama escalated fast.
Pentagon blacklisted Anthropic as a “supply chain risk.” Anthropic’s CEO fired back saying they got banned because they “didn’t donate to Trump” and refused “dictator-style praise.”
Now? Anthropic is suing the US government.
Plot twist: Claude’s downloads are breaking records. Streisand effect in full swing.
When the government bans your AI, apparently that’s just free marketing.
📡 SIGNAL #2
Amazon Says - Slow Down on AI Coding
After multiple AWS outages linked to AI-generated code, Amazon announced new rules. Junior and mid-level engineers now need senior approval for AI-assisted code changes.
Translation: vibe coding hits different when you’re running half the internet’s infrastructure.
The “AI is replacing devs” narrative just got humbled.
📡 SIGNAL #3
Kraken Gets Fed Access - Historic First
Kraken just became the first crypto firm with direct access to the Federal Reserve’s payment system.
Same rails as JP Morgan. Let that sink in.
Other exchanges are already lining up.
The line between crypto and TradFi is disappearing faster than anyone expected.
THIS WEEK AT INNER CIRCLE
AGNT’Con - Bangalore
80+ builders showed up on a Sunday evening. The room was packed. Energy was high. People stuck around way past the scheduled end time just talking to each other.
We ran firesides on content in the AI era, crypto × AI infrastructure, and what VCs are betting on.
Had speakers from Antler, Eigen Cloud, HeyElsa, Morphic, Base, Devfolio, AI Grants, and SPC - all in one room.
But the best part wasn’t the panels. It was watching people meet each other, swap ideas, and leave with new collaborators.
First AGNT’Con done. Already thinking about the next one.AI Sidekick Workshop - Online
Roshan (Permissionless) and Saumya (Base) walked a room full of people through building and deploying their own AI agent - in 3 hours.
Not just theory. Actually building. By the end, people were sharing what they made in the chat.
More such sessions in the weeks to come!
THE SIGNAL BOOST
GrowthX
GrowthX partnered with us at AGNT’Con to run a demo day.
Mahima Arora showcased her AI debate simulator - pick any topic, choose two personas, and it generates a podcast-style debate using their thinking styles and voice clones.
Anmol Mores demoed Agent City - a 3D virtual city where AI agents live, work, and collaborate in real time. You can watch them code, chat with each other, and even talk to them with voice.
Sai Bhaskar presented his context-switching killer for PMs - pulling Jira, Docs, and meeting notes into one place so you can talk to an AI that already knows everything.
Real demos. Real builders. No pitch decks.
👀 What we’re watching
Just Vibes!
Anthropic getting blacklisted - downloads break records. The Pentagon is their best growth team.
Grammarly's "sloppelgangers" - they made fake expert reviewers using real journalists' names. Without asking. The internet was not pleased.
Amazon's vibe coding ban - "move fast and break things" is over when "things" means AWS
That’s a wrap on Edition #2
